Muse Bakery began in 2019 when owner Cara, after completing her Culinary Arts degree, started baking from home while discovering her passion for creating beautiful cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, and sweet treats for every occasion. What began as a small home venture quickly grew into something much bigger, expanding into a studio where tiered birthday cakes, wedding cakes, macarons, fudgy brownies, and many other delicious creations came to life. Cara has always believed that every cake should be just as delightful inside as it is beautiful on the outside, and ensuring that each customer loves their custom creation remains at the heart of Muse Bakery.
Today, after years of growth and the incredible support of loyal customers, Muse Bakery & Patisserie has found its home in the charming suburb of Modderfontein. Here you’ll find our quaint pink café and bakery, offering handcrafted cakes, cupcakes, macarons, iced biscuits, wedding cakes and more. Whether you’re celebrating a baby shower, birthday, wedding, or simply treating yourself, you can browse our range online and even customize flavor profiles or add a special message to your cake. Orders placed online are freshly made and will be ready within 3 working days.
